“Other Mentions” is more than just the term used by coders to qualify one-off responses encountered in open-ended survey questions. It is also the name of our blog that is a collection of tips, ideas and random musings.

Updated at least twice a week, Other Mentions is written with the marketing and opinion researcher in mind.

It covers relevant industry news and trends, looks at upcoming events, and offers tips for small businesses. It also explores technology and gadgets, features some interesting research resources, and points you to the odd website that is equal parts fun and distraction.

As we want this blog to be more of an online magazine than an infomercial, you won’t find any self-serving articles except for the odd mention of very big company news.

And while Other Mentions is our blog, we also welcome any like-minded columns and articles, and your hints and suggestions, for which we will credit you and your company as a thank you for sharing your ideas.
